Description
This is a full-time role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, overseeing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing social media presence, and working closely with sales and product teams to increase the quantity and quality of leads. Your work will directly impact revenue growth.
What you'll be doing
- Develop, launch, monitor, and optimize Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads (Search, Display, possibly Video), with a strong focus on lead generation and conversion
- Manage and grow social media handles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to build brand awareness, engage audiences, and support lead generation
- Create compelling ad creatives, copy, and visuals that drive conversions
- Use A/B testing for ad copy, creatives, audience segments, and landing pages to continuously improve performance
- Track, measure, and report on campaign performance metrics (CPL, CPA, CTR, ROAS, conversion rate, etc.) and derive insights to inform strategy
- Collaborate with the sales team, design, and possibly product/development to ensure alignment
- Manage budgets, ensuring efficient spend allocation across campaigns and platforms
- Stay up-to-date with marketing trends, platform changes (e.g. updates from Meta, Google, LinkedIn), best practices, and tools
- Occasionally support organic and digital content strategy (social posts, blog, social content) that helps nurture leads and fuel ad campaigns
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years (or more) of hands-on experience managing Facebook/Meta Ads and Google Ads for lead generation or sales-driven campaigns
- Deep understanding of ad platforms (Meta Business Manager, Google Ads interface), including audience targeting, tracking, retargeting, and bidding strategies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, make decisions based on metrics, and optimize campaigns
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, Meta Insights, etc.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills for ads and social content
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and stay organized under deadlines
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in driving sales qualified leads (SQL) rather than just traffic or shallow leads
- Exposure to CRM and lead nurture workflows (e.g. email follow-ups, drip campaigns)
- Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Familiarity with budget management at scale, managing spend vs ROI trade-offs
- Experience in performance marketing or growth marketing in the tech, recruitment, SaaS, or service industries
